Hi guys, when I try to add a Report container with a Gantt Chart on it, the application display the following message : "The application extension needed for the object type 'LLGANTT' could not be found. Any idea why iis this happening.

OK, makes sense to me - the crash is probably caused by the incorrect MySql version. We'll upload a build based on 6.5.4 soon. Would love to package MySql with this project, however the GPL attached to MySql blocks that.

6.4.4 isn't available any more. Crashes occur with current version and 6.4.5. But as written before, the new compiled sources didn't crash.

Hi, would love to investigate this issue if you'd be able to provide more details. I just doublechecked and was able to run the precompiled binaries w/o any problems. Did you install the prerequisites (i.e. MySql.Data.DLL, version We're not allowed to package this release here unfortunately. We'll release a new version using the latest MySqlData version soon.

Binaries crash at start. Sources compile with VS 2010 and run, but LL trial licence prevents any usage. Unpleasant.

I got it in the end. I'm using a Bitnami VM machine. I had to open TCP/UDP 3306 on the Firewall(I didn't know it had a firewall!) and enable the user rights for remote access to the database on the database server. All info available on the Knowledgebase for Bitnami here:

Hi BodgeIT,
there are several possible causes:
First Cause: The connection string is not entirely correct. Please check that the IP is entered correctly, the database name is correct and the user and password is not misspelled.
Second Cause: The user doesn't have enough rights to connect to the database or use any statements. Please check the user's privileges.
Third Cause: Incorrect version of MySQL Connector. Make sure to use the correct version (

Also make sure that the connection from outside/via remote is allowed on the MySQL Server.

Struggling to get started. Have the folder in c:\RedmineReports, .Net 4.0 installed, have installed MySQL connector & have setup connection string with appropriate details but LL just tells me it can't connect to any of the hosts.
Any ideas? I'm trying to run it on Win 7 ult. 64bit.

New build is online.

Hi - Just looked into that. We've built against V of the MySql .NET connector, however this version seems to be unavailable. I'll upload a new build against (which is the current version) today. Just hang on for a couple of hours and thanks for pointing that out. If you're in a hurry, you might just as well use an assembly redirection. The principle is described here:

the precompiled tool doesn't launch at all, after executing the file it crashes instantly. mysql connector 3.6.8 and .net 4 is installed, the config-files seem to be correct.
It seems i'm doing something wrong :)
