Unable to connect to any of the specified mysql host.

Hi everyone,

Can't make redmine reports run... :(
  • I am using Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit.
  • I installed redmine reports V 1.0.9
  • I installed the required .NET connector 6.6.5.0
When I fill the mysql connection info I get an error (can't connect to host). I can login from mysql client using the credentials I'm providing to redmine reports (as you can see in the screenshot).

Any idea?

Thanks a lot!

It seems I went one step further but still I can't connect.

So my mysql server was configured to listen to localhost only:

bind-address = 127.0.0.1

I commented that line out and restarted mysql server

Now the error I get from redmine reports is:

"Host '192.168.50.152' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server"

being 192.168.50.152 my laptop IP address.

Now it seems that the server sees the request but rejects it for some reason. I know that is not a redmine reports problem, but if anyone experienced that problem too please share the solution.

Thanks in advance,
